In your region (Wallonia), you are responsible for generation new business. You maintain relationships with potential customers and pro-actively explore the Air and Ocean market.
You are the link between customers and colleagues of other Ceva Locations and you ensure that everybody is satisfied with the service and quality. Next to that, you will pro-actively communicate about RFQ’s with the EMEA and local “bid” teams. In collaboration with the department Sales Support, you prepare the information in relation to rates or product management of the carriers, airlines or Ceva Offices abroad.
You will also be responsible for preparing reports and sharing these with the shareholders within the organizations and the international colleagues.
You will work in the Business Development Team for Freight Management in the Benelux. For this role, you will report to the Sales Director Freight Management Benelux. In collaboration with a success driven team, you aim to reach the best results. You will also collaborate closely with the Sales Support team.
You are someone who is commercially driven, likes challenges and is able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment. You are pro-active, and at all times aware of the needs of the market. You are always striving for the most optimal results, you are decisive, self-confident and are passionate about your work. Furthermore, you are a strong communicator and a real team player. Next to that, your bring the following knowledge and experience with you :
- Bachelor/ Master Degree or equivalent in a related discipline
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Air and Ocean Freight
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate and make formal presentations in meetings.
- Strong written and spoken English essential
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Management experience and a global outlook
