  • Job description
    You will be Accountable for managing high profile implementations (across multi-functional business units) of strategic, comprehensive, and complex projects focused on MNC/Century new business, re-engineered business opportunities and systems, cost improvements and operational efficiencies.
     You will be ensuring compliance to CPM/ZDS (Prince 2/PMBOK), company policies, ISO guidelines and other regulatory requirements.  Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
    Your key responsibilities are:
    • Partner with the business units/functions, sales and management to develop an implementation project plan and assist in the identification and establishment of an implementation team.
    • Ensure that projects and programs that are global in nature are effectively communicated across the company.
    • Develop KPI (Key Performance Indicators) metrics.
    • Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and train the implementation team and staff on requirements.
    • Monitor performance metrics and measurements related to individuals, teams, processes, and projects.
    • Utilize effective communication or negotiation skills, employing diplomacy and sensitivity to resolve critical or escalated issues affecting the customer, staff, or senior management.
    • Conduct post-mortem assessment of project performance/success (both operational and financial).
    • Keep abreast of emerging technology changes and innovations through formal or informal study, reading business and professional publications, networking, and participation in professional organizations. 
    • Utilize effective communication or negotiation skills, employing diplomacy and sensitivity to resolve critical or escalated issues affecting the customer, staff, or senior management.
    • Ensure compliance with all related company policies, ISO guidelines and other regulatory requirements associated with the project. CPM/ZDS (Prince2/PMBOK)
    • Train implementation project resource at Sponsor, PM and Workstream levels
    • Ensure project compliance using Probability of Success Indicator during project life cycle. Ensure compliance with all legal, corporate and quality requirements
  • Requirements
    • Bachelor/ Master Degree or equivalent in a related discipline
    • Demonstrated success in leading, supervising, managing, motivating and developing individuals and high performance teams.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • 3-5 years’ experience in freight forwarding ,working in airfreight, Ocean freight
    • Experience in Management of large project teams or operations
    • Good organizational skills
    • Team builder
    • Understanding of the network and business of FM worldwide.
    • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
    • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and customers.
    • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills and Ability to analyze large amounts of data
    • Strong written and spoken English essential

    • Excellent analytical skills & negotiation experience
