As the Business Relationship Manager you are leading the IT Solutions strategy and execution for CEVA Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) and CEVA Ground in the Benelux. You will be responsible for driving the evolution of the solutions as well as facilitating the on-boarding of new customers.  
You will be the central point between the business and IT.  You will work closely with the SCS Control Tower and Ground Operations, and the local, European and Global IT teams to ensure CEVA is delivering optimal solutions for our customers and foster CEVA’s growth ambition in these business activities.  
In your role you will be a member of IT Benelux management team, reporting to Director IT Benelux and regularly engaging with Benelux and Global IT Senior Management team.

    Key accountability areas

     
    1Be the concept owner of CEVA Benelux SCS Solution and CEVA Benelux Ground TMS Solution
    2Work with our Customers, agree the business requirements, refine them and translate them into IT requirements in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts, Solution Design consultants and the BD function when needed;
    3Establish long term relationships with key stakeholders in the business and within our external customers;
    4Establish and animate the necessary Key User network ensuring a local IT interface availability to support the operations and understand the detailed requirements (including changes);
    5Maintain a portfolio of current and future activities (project & changes) including their current status enabling correct planning and reporting;
    6Partake in the annual budgeting & planning process for the assigned business units and provide ad-hoc updates on IT spend to date;
    7Ensure the delivery of solutions to time, quality and cost targets by engaging with the local and Global IT teams and managing the end to end process of delivery;
    8Be the IT sponsor for key activities and participate in relevant steering committees to provide the IT status reporting, facilitate the resolution of IT items and to provide constructive input;
    9Ensure that all functional requirements are met by solutions and that the business benefits expected are measured and delivered;
    10Report on operational IT performance to the stakeholders and drive the necessary changes where required;
    11Create and maintain a comprehensive fact sheet for each of our customers, maintaining a strong and up to date overview of our IT landscape within the business;
    12Stay abreast of industry trends in the business and technology;
    13Maintain information on competitor technology;
    14Ensure our stakeholders are kept informed of technological changes and also promote internal IT innovation coming from the various CEVA teams.
     

     
     

    The post holder will be a key member of the IT Benelux management team and will regularly engage the Benelux & IT leadership teams. It is vital that the post holder effectively creates a strong working relationship between IT and the business unit. The post holder will also regularly participate in customer meetings, operational reviews and sit on various steering committees. The CEVA organization continues to adopt a Matrix structure and IT is at the forefront of this initiative. It is vital that the post holder can work effectively with and through Matrix organizations to ensure that services are delivered effectively by virtual teams. The post holders role is maintain accountability at all times for the delivery of such services

    Education & Qualifications
    • Fluent in Dutch written and spoken
    • Fluent in English written and spoken
    • University degree in IT or Business
     
    Experience
    • Leadership experience within a business line or IT role
    • Experience in Solution design and pre sales environments
    • Strong affinity required on 4PL/LLP Control Tower and Transportation Management
    • Experience of working in a matrix organization
    Specialist Knowledge & Skills
    • Good working knowledge of IT processes and experience of full life cycle methodologies such as Prince II
    • Strong understanding of Transport Management Systems
    • Knows our industry well to understand and spot opportunities
    • Good knowledge of Supply chain technologies
    Interpersonal & Communication Skills
    • Demonstrable and proven capability to establish positive professional relationships with Senior executives both within CEVA and customers
    • Excellent verbal, written and presentational skills, encourages 2 way engagement
    • Hands-on and result driven mentality with a strong sense of ownership
    • Ability to convince and drive change
