Because of our business growth we are looking for a new IT HR Solutions Lead.
  • Job description
    Reporting to the Manager for Corporate Solutions, the HR Solutions Lead acts as the main interface with the global HR function and the IT team, integrating IT services into their roadmap and supporting the development of IT based solutions where necessary. The Solution lead understands the direction in which the HR function is developing with access to a range of skills suited to identifying and progressing new requirements as they arrive.
    CEVA’s global HR team contains a systems specialist for the implementation and development of the Success Factors HR system. To compliment the direct system skills embedded in the HR team, Corporate Solutions manages the delivery of the wider IT agenda, focussing on the supplier management, system platform, license management and critically integration.
    This role prefers a rounded IT specialist with project and integration skills as well as the ability to manage roadmap and interaction with the functional team. No direct technical knowledge of Success Factors is necessary but experience of the system is desirable. Formal project management experience is also of importance as many of the wider IT tasks will fall under a level of formal management.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Establish and maintain a close working relationship with the HR function to understand and agree the roadmap for IT;
    • Undertake planned and ad-hoc IT solution investigation by establishing requirements from the HR Senior team, working with the wider IT department and external providers to generate solution costs and timescales;
    • Work closely with the HR delivery teams to provide IT change management and solution delivery in line with proposals and as part of the wider business change;
    • Maintain a strong understanding of the relevant and emerging technologies in HR;
    • Release Management of Success Factors (or relevant systems), providing regular update and communication on developments back into the HR team to agree future initiatives and roadmaps;
    • Technical assessment of upgrades and management of regression testing and deployment;
    • Service Delivery of key IT suppliers and the CEVA business for provision of software and services (including supplier reviews);
    • Work with the wider Corporate Solutions Run & Maintain functions to monitor and manage the solutions environment and the standards of support, including KPI and statistical reporting;
    • Provide cost management of resources responsible to the applicable function(s) including IT time recharge and supplier invoice management;
    • License Management, ensuring CEVA remains within its contracted bounds and utilises system assets efficiently;
    • Project delivery of key IT based developments (e.g. systems integration).
  • Requirements
    • Relevant bachelor’s degree;
    • Experience at management level in business facing IT roles;
    • Experience in managing IT solution design and delivery;
    • 3 years in 3PL Logistics from a systems and operational perspective;
    • Experience within corporate functional processes (HR);
    • Wide breadth of knowledge of IT systems and their potential for integration;
    • Project delivery skills and familiarity with the project lifecycle;
    • Service Delivery skills, working with 3rd party supply;
    • Demonstrable and proven capability to establish positive, professional rapport with senior managers, suppliers and customers to promote credibility and stature;
    • Good verbal and written communications skills.
