    What are you going to do?
    To expand the team, we are looking for a Customer Service Employee. In this position you are the first point of contact for our customer. You are able to correctly follow up on all possible problems that arise in the logistics processes and you keep in constant contact with your customer to manage expectations. To do this, you constantly interact with your own department (customer Service and Transport), the operation, external service providers and the customer. You go:
    • Both telephone and e-mail often have a lot of customer contact in English;
    • Handling questions and complaints correctly and in a timely manner;
    • Analyze problems from the process and provide the customer with efficient solutions;
    • Building a good relationship with the customer's logistics team;
    • Putting out transport requests, Value Added Service assignments at the request of the customer;
    • Ensuring correct administration and preparing reports;
    • Analyze KPIs and initiate and implement improvement proposals.
    Where will you work?
    You will be working in the young and dynamic Customer Service team in The Hague. In total, your team consists of 8 people, both customer service employees and transport employees. You report directly to the contract supervisor. Together with the team you ensure optimal service to our customer and thus make a difference. The work will be carried out in day shifts between 07:00 and 18:00 from Monday to Friday.

    What are you bringing?
    We are looking for an energetic new colleague who wants to master customer service work in logistics. With your entrepreneurial attitude and communication skills, there is no problem that cannot be solved. A solid customer relationship and raising your team to a higher level are of paramount importance to you. You are also analytically strong and process-oriented. You enjoy working on improvements and process optimization. In addition, you bring the following knowledge and experience with you:
    • MBO+ or HBO work and thinking level;
    • Affinity with customer contact, for example acquired through part-time jobs/internships;
    • A professional command of both the Dutch and English language, verbally and in writing;
    • Thorough experience with MS Office, including advanced knowledge of Excel.
