    In your position as Project Manager Transport, you work closely with your colleagues from the Ground and Rail Operations for the region of Europe (UK, Benelux, France, Spain and Poland) within office hours. In your role you will report directly to the Head of Ground Europe and to our HQ Europe in Marseille. Good to know that as Project Manager Transport you can do this job remote, however there will be a minimum of 50% of travelling in which you need to visit our several Ground and Rail sites within in Europe. In this role there will be plenty of challenges/opportunities like setting up new and improving existing KPI’s, setting up different projects and lead them, optimizing various processes and contributing to it and see the product Ground and Rail grow in the future within CEVA. And can grow within in our company due to several career opportunities.

    As a Project Manager Transport, you are responsible for various projects related to our Ground and Rail Operations with the aim of making various processes more efficient and optimizing, so that we can improve our services to our customers.
    Your key responsibilities are:
    • Responsible for project management (setting up, coordinating and managing several project(teams) on site);
    • Responsible for making sure deadlines of projects will be reached;
    • Define, setting up KPI’s and improving our standards;
    • Reporting to the manager about developments of the projects;
    • (Indirect) making sure that the different TMS systems are used properly within our operations;
    • Coming up with solutions to any ad hoc problems;
    • Ensuring good communications with several departments within CEVA;
    • Contribute to various improvement proposals and be responsible for their implementation.
  • Demande
    You will be the ideal candidate if you meet the following requirements:
    • A bachelor’s degree in Logistics;
    • Similar work experience of minimum 5 years within Road freight;
    • Demonstrable experience in improving processes within road freight;
    • Experience with and knowledge of TMS systems;
    • In possession of knowledge and is used to working with information systems;
    • Good communication skills in English (French is a plus);
    • Your flexible, openminded and can easily adapt due to travelling in this job;
    • If you are a natural born leader.
