Traineeship at CEVA Logistics
Would you like to start your career at one of the largest Logistic Service Providers in the world? Are you looking for a company where you can develop into a future leader or specialist in the logistics field? Then we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you!
Two years of development and traineeship activities
We believe in learning by doing, discovering everything about CEVA whilst developing yourself with a personal development plan. You’ll develop craftsmanship and leadership by obtaining your Green Belt and via our CEVA Leadership Development Program. During two years you’ll be working in three different positions, on three different positions and business lines. The different positions will be discussed with you, that way we grant you room to organize your own development. During the process you and your fellow trainees work on a few different group assignments focused on operations, tactics, strategies and consultancy. A few times a year training days will be organized focused on different competences, we find these competencies essential for our future leaders and specialists.
The main focus of the traineeship will be personal and professional development. We focus on 3 types of learning:
• Learning by individual and team trainings and courses. For example toolboxes, and e-learnings;
• Learning from others. For example coaching, mentoring, intervision, Young CEVA Network and project work;
• Learning on the job. For example individual assignments, job rotation and site visits.
During the process you’ll be guided by your own personal mentor. This will be a senior manager within CEVA. You will also be linked to a CEVA Young Professional whom will act as your ‘buddy’. He or she will show you the way within the organization, can tell you all the ins and outs and will always be of course be available for Friday afternoon drinks.
Excellent Onboarding & Fun
A great start of your traineeship. 8 days to get to learn the organization, which shows you everything you need to know for your start at CEVA. During the kick-off we will take you on a CEVA-journey during which you and your fellow trainees will get to know each other. This will take place in an outdoor setting somewhere in the Netherlands. Let’s see how nature can help us on our way to leadership. During the introduction we put you in the same room as your internal client, with whom you will be discussing your first assignment. We will directly start with a few training courses, introduce you to our CEVA Onboarding app. Of course there will also be plenty of room to have a chat with your future colleagues and fellow trainees.
At February 25 more information will follow about the Traineeship, which will start in September 2019.
